Through the Screen Door

Through the Screen Door  is a series of nature songs for ages 18 months through 4 years old, connected by a narrative story.  Children will identify with Little Bit and his desire to explore the great world outside.

This CD can also be used in a mini-play production with preschool and kindergarten children for educational, noncommercial purposes.  Just add inexpensive costume pieces (directions included) and a little practice for an ideal 15-minute presentation for Parents Night and neighborhood productions. 

Creative dramatics activities help children develop

• confidence
• self-esteem
• empathy for others, and
• pre-literacy skills such as beginning-middle-ending, sequencing, plot, characterization, gesturing, vocabulary and grammar
